Study free in Italy-What is DSU scholarship

If you are already following me on my content on YouTube you probably know that Italy is known for free education and so called fully funded scholarships. But who provides it and how it works.

What is the DSU Scholarship? Studying abroad can be an exciting and life-changing experience, but it can also be expensive. That’s where the DSU Scholarship comes in. The DSU (Diritto allo Studio Universitario) organization in Italy explained how to apply for their scholarship program and what students need to know.

Eligibility Requirements The DSU Scholarship is available to international students who want to study in Italy. The scholarship provides financial assistance to cover tuition fees, accommodation, and other living expenses. The scholarship is awarded based on income of students and their family for students applying in first year.

How to Apply Each year from month of June different regions in Italy open call for this need based scholarship. With region you can understand like a state. So each state has their own scholarship and if you are going to or studying in mainly Public universities then you can apply for regional scholarship which falls in your region. For example Tuscany is one of the region in Italy and Public Universities which comes under this region are University of Pisa, University of Siena and University of Florence, So if you have applied or received admission letter from these universities you can apply for regional scholarship.

Documents you need Family Income certificate, Family Composition Certificate, Bank statement, Property Certificate.
